Café Fit Out - Thornbury

This was a full renovation and refit of a two-storey corner block Victorian which used to be a butchery. The building was transformed into a modern/earthy café. This build was complex internally because we had to remove many structural walls, which in turn required installation of large structural steel beams in their place. The fit out was inspired by the clients in collaboration with us. It featured recycled Baltic floors, custom Tasmanian Oak counter with apple box timber benchtop. The benches came from North East Victoria and included a plywood staircase to restrooms and office.
