Church Conversion - Office - Hawthorn

This job called on our experience with the restoration of old Victorian structures and working with old building elements to bring them into the modern era. This was a perfect and unique case of making an old dysfunctional building into something that will function as a modern usable space. It also had the element of a more commercial partition-based office fit out which is work we wouldn’t normally do, but were able to adapt appropriately and the results were very good. One of our favourite features was the entrance which called for the installation of a steel supported arch into an old brick façade. This involved various structural and installation challenges, but the result was excellent and well worth the effort involved. We continue to do work on the building to this day as the occupying business evolves and changes. Our clients were very happy with the results and enjoyed the process involved in this transformation.
