Elevated Studio - Prahran

This was a unique job where we built an elevated studio on the rear of a property in Prahran. The client wanted an artistic space to produce various artworks. This building is elevated with large clear spans and varying angles – this provided a structural challenge and we had to construct a large steel portal frame to support the complex structure in a restricted space. We once again enjoyed the use of recycled building items like wharf timber from old Geelong docks to use as deck and stair treads. A very rewarding job and one we will remember fondly.
