Renovation & Restoration - Ashburton
This project was an addition and complete restoration of a 1920-30's art deco influenced house. We were involved in this job from concept to completion. Once again, we were tasked with creating a connection between old and new with all the associated challenges. Some of our favourite features in this home include the use of character timber (old and new), in combination with modern joinery and all its functional features. It was a pleasure working in with the clients on various design and finish aspects of the job, in order to create what they were envisaging. It was a real team effort with a very rewarding result.

“We highly recommend EngDev. We cannot fault their commitment to the job, attention to detail, communication throughout, and the excellent build quality that our family will have to enjoy over many years to come. This was a large job and our first time renovating so it was important to us that our builder was involved from the beginning. Charles was able to help guide the design process from a buildability perspective alongside his recommended architect. This meant that after a competitive tender and several in home consultations, the intricacies of the job were well understood and indicated price spot on. We look forward to embarking on another build down the track with Charles and his crew.”
