Warehouse Fit Out - West Melbourne

This job involved the fit out of an old warehouse that had been subdivided for use as individual apartments. It was a small footprint, but multiple stories, so posed various access challenges and the maximisation of available space and access during construction. The client wanted a unique look with the varied use of modern finishes combined with antique and the distressed look of recycled materials. We really enjoyed the process of experimenting with material and recycled items that you don’t always get a chance to work with. We also had regulatory challenges with various applications to the VBA for modifications to the building standards to achieve a compliant build. The client was very happy with the result.
