Addition & Restoration - Kew

This was another addition and complete restoration of a large Victorian home. It featured a curved modern extension on the rear comprising heavy construction elements such as large polished concrete slabs and marble finishes. Some of our favourite features are the internal monolithic architectural concrete and marble structures that fit well with the heritage Victorian elements of the existing house. One of the challenges was the management of the heritage listed features which were over 100 years old. They required much care and attention to maintain them and bring them back to their original condition. It was a very rewarding job and we felt lucky to be involved in the journey of bringing this old building into the current age whilst still meeting modern living requirements of our clients.
