New Home - Hawthorn
This was a new build on the back carpark of a commercial property looking out over a park, which called for a unique design that allowed access to the commercial carpark and also maximized the view available of the park for the house. It used a combination of polished architectural concrete as well as timber feature linings. Much of the structure was clear spanning steel on top of a post tension slab, which is more commonly seen in commercial construction, but these structural elements allow the building to take on its suspended appearance, bound by feature brick parapet walls and lots of windows looking out over the park. It was a technical build and another one of our favourites. The clients were very happy with the results and we assist them with various other construction works to this day.

“We operate a development company building anything from small Victorian restorations to multistorey apartment developments. We use Charles for our small to medium scale works as well as all associated maintenance on past builds and investments (commercial & domestic). We find him to be a very friendly, honest and loyal partner in all our business.”
